to be read left to right, top to bottom
I presented Consumed. in two formats: a commercial, sleek, manga standard size book to honor the primary inspiration: Asian horror graphic novels. This was printed on 80 lb. vellum white paper.
The other version was an accordion fold book presented (at my senior show) standing upright in an oval, cyclical shape. The book is wending in and out, breathing, a visual metaphor for the ebbs and flows of the tumultuous storyline. The original paintings and marker drawings were all carefully mounted on Stonehenge paper in "Fawn".
